As a long-time networker in the local and international music scene, Sandro likes to initiate and curate new projects with a touch of innovation and a creative force. Musicians can win him over in 5 seconds and then never let him go - even for decades. His projects always take him from the club to the countryside - be it far away - for example in North Africa, Palestine or Lebanon or in Alsace right on his doorstep. He has 20 years of experience in the cultural and festival sector and was head of the music department at the Kaserne Basel for 12 years.He co-founded the Polyfon Festival in Basel and the Landskron Festival in France.He is a member of the Swiss Music Prize National Jury as well as other various board of trustees and jury activities.
